And the moral of this weekend is: people who live in mountains should not mock hurricanes, lest their power be taken out by some piddling thunderstorm that brings down lines in an area with no truck access. Yeah. Not that the Friday comic wasn't going to be late anyhow, but having no power and thus no computer or internet (not to mention lights, stove, running water...) from late Friday afternoon until late Saturday night put a distinct crimp in things. Since I do a significant amount of work on my day off (Saturday), I'm also pre-emptively blaming the likely-late Tuesday comic on this.... (Incidentally, for those of you that do the social networks thing, I am on Google+ a bit more than I am on my other networks (which is to say, a bit more than never) just now, and I do have a comics circle where I post what progress I'm making from time to time. Unfortunately there isn't an easy way to let me know that you're a comic fan, but I'll stick up a post where people can comment saying 'hey, comics fan, let me on that circle' if people like.)
