Zoooombie updaaaate... I'm sorry this is so slow, I am really struggling to find my way with this storyline and have lately been reduced to writing everything backwards, meaning I'm having to fumble my way through two and three down-the-line scripts just to figure out what happens next. But I feel like I'm hitting the downhill slope at last....

In more cheerful news: my collective, Spiderforest, tried to get into the Small Press Expo in Maryland this year. We thought we'd failed (it was a lottery draw, and no one in the collective got any higher than #26 on the waitlist), but in early August we got word that table space had opened up and -- after a mad scramble of logistics -- it looks like we'll be going after all! There's a whole bunch of very talented creators showing up, and, well, me. :)

So if you're in Bethesda on the 13th or 14th of September, please come by tables E10-11 and see us. It's going to be a blast; we have a bunch of books, and some of the collective artists (including, well, me) have set up a book of prints to showcase the variety of talent. The Expo itself is simply chock-full of good books and a real blast. I hope to see some of you there!
