Er, hi.

I'll be honest: when I said a 'short' break, I really thought it would be short, not, y'know, upwards of three months. Life happened. I'm sorry.

However! The comic will resume updating next Tuesday! In the meantime, have some chewy filler, which is tangentally related to a short story I wrote for a digital bundle in the SpiderForest Anthology Kickstarter about a contractor who runs afoul of the Ellisit, set just after the Kariami war. It and the short comic I wrote for that anthology -- an eight-page story about Spider, Eva la Fleur's second-in-command and the top cyberadept in Kieselburg -- are now up for sale on Gumroad, unless you're one of my Patreons, in which case you've already got both for free. They were both tons of fun and taught me a lot, so I hope folks enjoy them!

In less self-serving advertising, it's that time of year again -- time for SpiderForest's Comic(s) of the Week!

Sombulus by Christina Major- Sombulus is a world-hopping adventure about a curious tinkerer who talks to machines, a magical scavenger, and a zealous paladin. Together, they travel the Myriad Worlds, leaving each place a little more weird than the last!

Cosmic Fish by Eliana Falcon - Rejected and hunted down by the planetary guardians, Acantha and her monstrous kind have taken it upon themselves to solve the mystery of their origins and find their place in the universe they are forced to call home.

Castoff by Star Prichard - Vector always dreamed of traveling. He got kidnapped instead. Now, with the help of a short-tempered bounty hunter, a happy-go-lucky cartographer, and many more unlikely friends, he has to try to make it home in one piece.

These are all great comics, and they actually, you know, post updates that aren't three months apart. Go! Read!
