I posted this filler to my Patreon back in the beginning of May. At the time I really thought it was just the overwhelming Stuff of the past two months that was putting me behind on the comic, that I'd post a few more filler comics while I got my feet under me, that I just needed the spare time and I'd get back to work, Any Time Now.

.... that didn't happen.

I talked about this at length in a public post over on my Patreon, so I won't repeat the backstory, but in summary: what I went through at the day job last year was apparently the last straw, and I am going through a massive episode of burnout which is affecting, well, my whole life frankly, but most relevantly my ability to work creatively. This silly drawing was the last creative thing I managed to do. Every other try has ended in failure. In my current state I just... can't write.

I'm dealing with this the best I can, but at this time I don't have a return date for the comic. I have no idea how long this crap will go on, so I don't know when I'll be able to work creatively again. It makes me miserable to say that, which is why there's been radio silence for so long, but it's really not fair to y'all to just vanish without explanation.

I'm going to keep trying to find a way to work through this horrid grey crap, and I will do my best to keep you guys updated as I do.

I'm absolutely gutted about this, but beating myself up about it or pretending it was temporary has not helped, so all I can say is... thank you for your patience, and I'll get myself back on track as soon as I possibly can. I just don't know when 'soon' will be.
