Zia: Then there are many candidates for a job like yours who do have influence with their friends and family. Doctors who can offer the Board something more useful than a knack for keeping patients alive. I'm sure you understand me.
Viv: (quietly)Yes.
Zia: Then I won't distract you further from your surgery. I know these things matter to you. Have a pleasant afternoon, Dr. Garrett.
Zia: T-there, Harvey. Happy? I did my p-part. And from now on you can just leave me out of the dirty work.

The Ferrin by Alyssa Laraine Steele - All Elanor wanted to do was finish her Thesis project. Looks like she's going to have a lot more to write about than just the Ferrin's social behavior if she ever gets to finish it.
