As I'm still not doing well with answering comments... I just wanted to say thanks to all of you who posted nice approving things about the last page. It was important to me, but y'know, I live with these characters in my head, and so there's this niggling voice that says when I write long not-very-plotty conversations I'm being self-indulgent. Which, you know, I maybe still am. But other people are appreciating it and that makes me happy.
