It really did take them almost four hours to show up. We were hours late milking, the cheese crew had to put cheese in the cellars using flashlights, and the fire chief apparently blew his lid when they did show. Imagine that.

My husband, a hero of the revolution, took kidlet on a four-day trip to see her grandparents, and as a direct result I really think we will have an honest-to-god update next week! People have been so patient with the crappy stick figures! I may keep posting them to my Patreon for a bit because I am enjoying doing them and getting a bit of perspective on the madness that has been my year so far, but here on the main site it'll be real story from now on! (... until I fall behind again. *sigh*)
