A Little Green
Travis is given guard duty over Ria, a teenaged Sunlander that one of his fellow officers impregnates and abandons -- putting her in danger from her own people, who consider halfblooded children an abdomination. Unfortunately Ria is neither resigned to her situation nor particularly graceful in adapting to it, and lands herself and her hapless protector in no end of trouble. First she insists on attending the Masquerade race, which turns into a riot. Later, she escapes back to the Greenwharves. Travis has to recruit Zeke, an Army friend of Sal and Ana's, to go into the Wharves and rescue her before the vigilante Nightmasks can find her.Characters: Ria - Travis - McMillian - Isidro - Filipa - Zeke - Io - Martina - Fausto - Elroy - Ana - Sal - Twoshot
